The binational doctoral college IB-ID, led by UHH and UNISTRA, benefits from a unique portfolio of bioscience infrastructures, fosters strong interdisciplinary and international collaboration and is building a sustainable graduate education programme at the interface of molecular infection, biophysics and structural biology. PhD students enrolled in the programme are jointly supervised by members of both institutions and have the option to obtain a co-tutelle doctoral degree validated by both universities.
